can be much shorter.) Poetry: Best Original Poem Non-Fiction: Max words 1000 Journalism Entry: Best News Article on Homeschooling (Judged on Journalistic writing style.) 500 word maximum Best Typical Tabloid News Article: (ex. The Giant Bookworm that Took Over The Library) 400 word maximum Devotional: Base this simple message on a Scripture verse.
