Only current CHoSS members in good standing can check out materials from the Lending Library.
Books can be checked out for 30 days. If no one has placed a hold for the book(s),
it can be extended for another 30 days, up to 90 days.
Lost, damaged or destroyed books, magazines and videos must be replaced
by the person who checked them out. If you ask someone else to return
an item and it gets lost or damaged, you are still responsible for it.
We encourage you to donate books to the library if they are in good condition.
CHoSS maintains a Lending Library of books, magazines and video tapes that are available to members on a monthly basis.
This inventory includes a large variety of homeschool "how-to" books as well as Christian books and tapes for kids!
This Lending Library presents members with an opportunity to contribute material they discover
that would benefit the group. Members can also contact us
to request a title for us to purchase.
We do our best to include titles that you won't readily find at the public library,
which makes it even more valuable, and the service is completely free for members!
